A graduate of the University of Manitoba in Fine Arts and the University of Western Ontario in Art Therapy, for many years Jill painted large-scale, light-splashed domestic landscapes in oils.
When she began to paint with watercolours she carried with her a love of strong, rich colour.
This fondness for light and colour and her passion for the garden has resulted in watercolours which are both representational and metaphorical in content.
